| Doing the final clean up of our little cottage |

We purchased our manufactured home December 2007 as our "part-time home" in NC. We were still going back and forth between Budapest and the U.S., and it was such a blessing to have a place of our own.
Christmas 2007 saw us unpacking all of our stored belongings and trying to salvage what we could from the mold. For two years it was such a blessing for us to have two places we could call home, two comfortable places to stay--one our flat in Budapest, one our "cottage" here. I started calling it cottage to keep from calling it a manufactured home or worse--a trailer, which it is not!

It took a bit of explaining to tell our Hungarian friends what a manufactured home was. And many Americans don't realize either--it's built completely according to stick built specifications--must pass a building inspection--but it's built in a factory and transported to the location.
The economy was so bad and it is difficult to advertise a manufactured home when it is sitting on rental property since it does not qualify as real estate and can't be listed as such. So our cottage sat empty for over a year after we bought our home. But April 1st it will be occupied by a nice family. We pray it will bless them as much as it has blessed us!
