When Nicole and Kipp started school in Germany, they had a tradition to give the kindergartners a big cone filled with things that will make them happy on a day when they might be a little anxious about leaving mom for the first time. When Emma started school, I kept the tradition going by giving her one of these large cones, and since this is Gracie's year to start kindergarten, she also got one. We had to give it a few days early since we are going to be in Budapest the actual day that she starts.
Even though Emma and Scout are not starting kindergarten, they got littler cones too.
